Father in the Name of Jesus, today I recognize and acknowledge the spirit of weariness at work in my life. I repent of the sin of allowing this spirit to rule in my life and cause me to become tired and fatigued in my soul. Where I’ve lost my zeal and passion for the things of God, restore me, Lord. This spirit has skewed my perspective and caused me to look at circumstances around me instead of looking to You. I choose to take ownership of my spiritual condition and my relationship with You, Father. I decree over my soul now that I will not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time (and yes, there is a due time) and at the appointed season, I shall reap, and I will not loosen and relax my courage and faint. I choose now to stay in the fight and not allow my adversary to wear me out, according to Daniel 7:25.
I am thirsty, Lord, so I come to You and drink! I come to You, Lord, because I’ve been heavy-laden and overburdened. Lord, cause me to rest. Ease and relieve and refresh my soul. I bind the spirit of weariness, discouragement, disappointment, and confusion now in the name of Jesus. I demolish every deceptive weary thought that opposes God, and I break through every arrogant attitude that is raised up in defiance of the true knowledge of God. I capture, like prisoners of war, every thought and insist that it bow in obedience to the Anointed One, Jesus Christ. Jesus, I understand that You have imparted to me all Your authority to trample over satan’s kingdom. I trample upon every demon before me and overcome every power satan possesses. Absolutely nothing will be able to harm me as I walk in this authority. This includes the spirit of weariness and all that is connected to it.
I now loose the Spirit of Refreshing of the Holy Spirit. Reconnect me in intimate fellowship with You, Lord. Fill me again with Your Holy Spirit. Father, fill me afresh with Your Spirit. Lord, You give power to the faint and weary, and to him who has no might You increase strength [causing it to multiply and making it to abound]. I receive Your strength and Your power now. I fan into flame Your gracious gift, Lord, that inner fire—the special endowment which is in me through the laying on of hands. For God did not give me a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but He has given me a spirit of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control]. Give me fresh passion for You. I return to my first Love. Let the zeal of the Lord of hosts come upon me now like a cloak and rest in my life. A zeal for the word, prayer, and worship. A zealous salvation! Father, keep me around passionate people who have a zeal for You and Your Kingdom. In Jesus Name. Amen
